Hisense Hi Reader device introduced with 6.7" Screen and Unisoc T610 chip

Hisense has announced a device called Hi Reader for reading e-books. The gadget will go on sale for an estimated price of $280.

The novelty is equipped with a 6.7-inch monochrome display on electronic paper E-Ink. The screen has a pixel density of 300 PPI (dots per inch) and takes up around 84% of the front surface of the case. The brightness is automatically optimized based on the current lighting conditions.

Based on the Unisoc T610 processor. The chip combines two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores with the same frequency and a Mali G52 graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, the capacity of the built-in flash drive is 64 GB.

The reader is in a 7.5 mm thick housing, weighs 177 g and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. There are physical control buttons on the sides.

Android 10 is used as the operating system, bookmarks allow quick access to settings, applications, an online shop and available e-books.
