Half-Life 2: VR Mod is compatible with SteamVR supported devices (Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift) and allows you to play Half-Life 2 in virtual reality mode from start to finish.

Since we’re talking about “Beta”, the mod doesn’t include all the features and suffers from a number of bugs. AT team plans other improvements including support for episodes, weapon rework, texture tightening and improved comfort when traveling in vehicles.

In its current form, Half-Life 2: VR Mod supports multiple control options (movement in space, instantaneous and smooth turns, etc.), but still needs improvement.

In addition, the authors investigate the possibility of moving by teleportation. The game and its levels have not been adapted to this method of movement, so no promises from the developers do not give.
