Blizzard Entertainment continues to collect player feedback to determine the final form of monetization for its shareware team-based shooter Overwatch 2. The recent survey has raised concerns in the community.
We will remind that Blizzard has previously confirmed that Overwatch 2 is rejecting loot boxes in favor of Battle Passes and direct purchases. As it turned out, the latter can be comparable in cost to the game as a whole.
As published by user Portergauge Twitter images, in a recent poll, Blizzard Entertainment asked players how likely they were to pay in Overwatch 2:
- $45 for Mythic skin (the rarest, available for additional customization);
- $30 per pack (Legendary Skin, Line, Spray, Weapon Ornament, Victory Pose, Player Icon and Name Card)
- $25 for the Legendary skin;
- $10 for weapon decoration;
- $5 for three graffiti.
Overwatch 2 Early Access and debut season launches October 4th on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. With the launch, the second part will be a complete replacement for the first.
