GPD Win 4 is here – a portable gaming console based on Ryzen 7 6800U with a full-size keyboard

GPD has officially launched the Win 4 portable game console, which uses Windows operating system and AMD hardware platform. The gadget has the format of a slider with a sliding display, under which a keyboard with a QWERTY layout is hidden.

The screen has a diagonal of 6 inches and a resolution of Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels). Left and right of this panel are game controls – joysticks, D-Pad and additional buttons.

The Ryzen 7 6800U processor is involved: it combines eight cores with the ability to process 16 instruction streams simultaneously. The base clock frequency is 2.7 GHz, the maximum frequency is 4.7 GHz. The chip is equipped with an AMD Radeon 680M graphics accelerator with a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz.

The size of the RAM LPDDR5-6400 can be 16 or 32 GB. Storage is managed by a 1TB or 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Optionally, you can install a microSD card.

There are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapters, a 4G/LTE modem (optional), stereo speakers, USB 4 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and a standard -Audio jack.

The GPD Win 4 handheld console will go on sale next month. The developer has not yet announced the price.
