The updated Chrome Web Store closely resembles the web version of the Play Store digital content platform. The updated design combines the familiar top navigation bar with numerous elements in a more modern style. This doesn’t quite match the Google Material You concept that we’re used to in the Play Store, but still, the site’s design fits organically into the overall Chrome ecosystem.
The updated Chrome Web Store looks quite minimalistic. At the top of the workspace is a large slider that showcases the best extensions and themes available. Below you will find popular products by category as well as products recommended for the user to download. Note that there are new categories of extensions in the Google Store, including AI-powered extensions and shopping extensions. The search bar has been moved to the top right corner, making it easier to find the add-ons you need. For a more precise search, you can use numerous filters.
