Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer from its Santa Monica Studio divided Information about the early market success of their action-adventure game God of War Ragnarok.

As it became known, worldwide sales of God of War Ragnarok in the first week, which in this case (the game was released on Wednesday) lasted five days, amounted to a record 5.1 million copies.
The result, achieved in such a short time, made God of War Ragnarok the fastest-selling game in the series and among the projects of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s in-house studios.

For comparison, God of War (2018) sold 3.1 million copies worldwide at launch, but in just three days. Then it was only about one targeting platform and not two like God of War Ragnarok.
God of War Ragnarok debuted on PS4 and PS5 on November 9th. The media welcomed the game with enthusiasm (94% on Metacritic) and referred to the technical implementation on PS5, among other things. Everything is good on PS4 too, but not so good.
