The manufacturer has redesigned the cooling system of the Aorus Elite model compared to a similar card of the previous generation: it has become more of a cooler for Aorus Master series cards. Perhaps this explains the lack of information on whether Gigabyte plans to release Radeon RX 7900 series accelerators in Aorus Master versions.

The Radeon RX 7900 XTX Aorus Elite turned out to be very “well fed”. The card occupies 3.5 expansion slots in the PC case. However, it is not as huge as the visually similar GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master, which occupies four expansion slots.

Apparently the Radeon RX 7900 XTX Aorus Elite will use a non-reference PCB. The graphics card gets three 8-pin connectors for additional power supply. In addition, in this version the accelerator will be equipped with a dual BIOS system. The characteristics of the novelty are not yet known.

Gigabyte’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX Gaming OC model will receive a more compact and simple cooling system with a thickness of 2.5 expansion slots. It is equipped with two 8-pin connectors for additional power supply, but also features a dual BIOS system with sleep and performance modes.

According to VideoCardz, Gigabyte will also release reference versions of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT, but with their own branding.
