Gigabyte is working on Aorus laptop with Intel Alder Lake chip and DDR5 memory

The UserBenchmark database has information about an interesting laptop that is being prepared by Gigabyte. It is known that the new product will be called Aorus 17G and will be focused primarily on game lovers.



It is reported that the “heart” of the laptop will serve as one of the Intel Alder Lake processors, which have not yet been officially presented. We are talking about a product with 14 computing cores and the ability to simultaneously process up to 20 instruction streams: a configuration with six productive and eight energy efficient cores is used. It can be a Core i7-12700H or Core i7-12800H product.

It is also said that the laptop will be endowed with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, operating at a frequency of 4800 MHz. The operating system Windows 10 is listed as the software platform.



The laptop will be equipped with a 4K screen with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. Observers believe that the equipment will include a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080.

The official presentation of the novelty can take place at the end of this or early next year.
