Gigabyte introduced the GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce – a graphics card with a 360mm coolant radiator

Last month, Gigabyte introduced the Aorus and gaming OC GeForce RTX 40 series graphics accelerators based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. Now the GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce graphics card has been announced, which thanks to the use of LSS with a massive 360mm radiator is much more compact than the huge RTX 4090 Master.

The new GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce is a clone of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Aorus Waterforce with minor changes. The graphics card is based on an updated circuit board and of course a more powerful AD102 GPU. The images provided also show the updated GeForce RTX logos, but otherwise the design appears to be the same. The design of the RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce is so similar to the similar RTX 3090 Ti that it even has the rear plastic with a cutout for the NVLink interface, although it’s not present on the RTX 4090.

The liquid cooling system of the novelty includes a large copper water block, 460mm braided tubes and three 120mm fans mounted on a 360mm radiator. One of the features is a simple installation that does not require the organization of non-standard LSS.

A 12 + 4-pin plug is provided for the power supply. Another GeForce RTX logo appeared on the side of the graphics card. Gigabyte’s GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Waterforce will join a number of other liquid-cooled graphics cards like the Colorful iGame Neptune and MSI Suprim X Liquid. At the same time, only Neptune has an external 360mm radiator, but mass production of this model has not started yet.

The launch date of the Gigabyte RTX 4090 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce and the retail price of the graphics card are not yet known.
