Gigabyte has introduced the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti WindForce with a completely new cooling system

Gigabyte has presented the sixth version of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card in its performance. Previously, the manufacturer has already released two versions of the Aorus, as well as the Eagle, Gaming and white Aero models. The new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti WindForce model uses a completely updated thermal design that hasn’t been used in any other graphics card from Gigabyte.

Although the manufacturer does not specify the cost of the novelty, we can safely assume that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti WindForce model will be the cheapest version of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti in the Gigabyte range, which is typical for all previous generation graphics cards in made in this series.

The thickness of the graphics card is 50 mm. The novelty occupies 2.5 expansion slots in the system unit. Its cooling system includes three fans. The AD104-400 GPU used as the heart of the graphics card is said to be slightly overclocked ex works. The manufacturer indicates that the chip operates at a frequency of 2625 MHz, which is only 15 MHz higher than the reference value.


The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC is equipped with a standard set of external connections, consisting of three DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1. The card also received a 12+4 pin connector for additional power. The novelty comes with an adapter from two 8-pin connectors to one 12+4-pin connector, so the power consumption of the accelerator does not exceed 300 watts.

The model GeForce GeForce RTX 4070 Ti WindForce OC (GV-N407TWF3OC-12GD) has not yet appeared in stores.
