Gigabyte compared the gigantic GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master with normal and compact graphics cards

Gigabyte will release one of the largest versions of the GeForce RTX 4090, a solution called GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master. The company has already announced the novelty, but has not disclosed its technical characteristics. Today the manufacturer shared data on its physical dimensions and they are impressive.

The official images of the GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master show how compact the graphics card’s external connection panel looks against the background of its huge cooling system. According to Gigabyte, the card will take up four expansion slots in a PC case.

The cooling system of the novelty is equipped with three huge fans with a diameter of 110 mm. For comparison: Typical Mini-ITX graphics cards are up to 170 mm long. With a GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master length of 358 mm and a height of 162 cm, four Mini-ITX graphics cards can theoretically fit in the space they occupy and there is still a little space left.

The internal volume of the GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master is 4383 mm3, which is five times the size of a Gigabyte ITX card. The volume of the novelty theoretically fits almost 10 low-profile Radeon RX 6400 graphics cards. Even against the background of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, which is performed by Gaming OC from the same manufacturer, the GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master looks like a real giant.

Gigabyte is one of the few companies that didn’t use a three- or four-slot mounting plate for their new product. Instead, the GeForce RTX 4090 Aorus Master uses a dual-slot I/O board. Experience in use will show how reliable this solution proves to be in the end and whether the graphics card sags.
