Gigabyte has introduced the graphics accelerators of the Aorus and gaming OC GeForce RTX 40 series based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. New items borrow the design of their predecessors, but their cooling systems have seen some improvements.
The manufacturer does not indicate any technical characteristics of graphics cards and is limited only to general information about them. For example, the cooling systems of the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 16GB and RTX 12GB models run by Aorus received more efficient WINDFORCE Bionic Shark fans. They generate 30% more airflow than previous generation fans while being 3 dBA quieter than their predecessors.
Aorus models are distinguished by the presence of a built-in LCD display that shows various information about the state of the graphics card (GPU and memory temperature, power consumption, etc.). In addition, personalized texts and various images can be displayed.
The company also notes that it has brought back three-ring RGB fan lighting. It is present on both the Aorus and Gaming OC series graphics cards.
In October, Gigabyte promises to release the GeForce RTX 4090 in Aorus Xtreme Waterforce, Aorus Master, Gaming OC and WindForce versions. In November, GeForce RTX 4080 models will appear in stores in the same versions.
