Getac will launch the X600 and X600 Pro rugged laptops in October. Notebooks are designed for use in manufacturing, transportation and logistics, the oil and gas industry, and other cases where the computer must withstand an extremely hostile environment.
New goods received a protected design according to the MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G and IP66 standards. They are not afraid of moisture, dust, dirt, vibration and falls from a height of up to 1.2 meters. The operating temperature range extends from -29 °C to +63 °C.
The devices are equipped with a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format). The LumiBond technology delivers a brightness of up to 1000 cd/m²2. A capacitive touch panel can be installed as an option.
Based on the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform. The maximum configuration includes a Core i9-11950H processor with eight cores (16 instruction threads) running at up to 5.0 GHz. An Intel UHD graphics accelerator is used, and an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 graphics card can be installed as an option.
The main memory in the basic version is 16 GB (expandable up to 128 GB). The solid state drive is designed to store 512 GB of data (two additional SSDs can be installed).
The computers come with a 2.5G Ethernet network adapter, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2 wireless controllers, a Full HD webcam, Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A , HDMI, DisplayPort, D-Sub and a serial port. A GPS receiver and a 4G/LTE module are optionally available.
The X600 Pro version also offers PCMCIA and Express slots. There is also a multimedia compartment that offers space for an optical DVD/Blu-ray drive or two additional batteries.
