The upcoming GeForce RTX 4060 is an entry-level graphics card with a power consumption of 115 W. Apparently, this information was shared by ASUS, since the manufacturer plans to release a version of the ROG Strix with a huge cooling system with a thickness of 2.75 expansion slots and three fans prepared. Without factory overclocking, the novelty costs 490 euros, with a factory overclocked GPU 500 euros. This is more expensive than some variants of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti.

Gigabyte is also preparing to release a massive GeForce RTX 4060. The new Aorus Elite is priced at €420 on the Finnish store, putting it close in price to some non-reference versions of the older GeForce RTX 4060 Ti model with 8GB of memory. The cheapest versions of the GeForce RTX 4060 from ASUS and Gigabyte are offered for 350 euros. In this case it is the dual fans ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 Dual and Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 Windforce.

Remember that the GeForce RTX 4060 will not be released in the reference version of the NVIDIA Founders Edition. Implementation is entrusted exclusively to NVIDIA partners. The recommended price for the graphics card is $299 for the US and €329 for Europe.

With a recommended price of 439 euros, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is a very disappointing graphics card on its own. Manufacturers’ decision to sell the low-end RTX 4060 for $400+ already seems like a very bad idea. However, one should still wait for the official launch of this new product on June 29th and its reviews.
