Gears Tactics creators are working on a game in a new sci-fi universe

Splash Damage, released last year by Gears Tactics, has set to work on its next game, set in an all-new sci-fi universe. The corresponding message appeared on the official website of the company, but there are no additional details of the project. Not even the genre or name has been announced.

Previously, the British studio managed to work on games of various sci-fi series, including Halo, Wolfenstein and Gears of War. Now the developers have set themselves an ambitious goal – to create their own unique game world.

“We are pleased to announce that one of our ongoing projects is a brand new game set in an original sci-fi universe. – written by the developer. – We’ve enjoyed working with renowned IPs like Wolfenstein, Gears of War and Halo throughout our 20-year history, but we strive to create our own world similar to Brink, Outcasters and Dirty Bomb. “

Splash Damage is currently looking for new hires to help the studio ramp up production on an unannounced project.

Recall that at the end of last year, the Chinese giant Tencent completed the acquisition of Leyou Technologies Holdings, which includes not only the British studio Splash Damage, but also Digital Extremes (Warframe).
