Gearbox Entertainment Co-Founder Randy Pitchford at today’s October 7th Quarterly Meeting announced about changes in the management staff of the company’s divisions.
In particular, Pitchford himself stepped down from his duties as president of Gearbox Software and entrusted this position to the studio veteran Steve Jones, with whom he worked for over 20 years.
In doing so, Pitchford will remain at the helm of Gearbox Entertainment, lead the Transmedia division – Gearbox Studios – and continue to be involved in the creative process of creating the company’s games.
“Gearbox Software has several AAA projects in development and many more have already been greenlighted, Gearbox Publishing has tons of great games, and Gearbox Studios has an explosive transmedia business. We’re just getting started “Pitchford said.
Gearbox Software is currently preparing for the release of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a fantasy looter-shooter set to premiere on March 25, 2022. In addition, the studio is working on the next part of Brothers in Arms.
