The Metaverse is a permanent virtual space where people can interact with each other and digital objects through their avatars. Computers, tablets, virtual, augmented and mixed reality helmets, and other devices can be used to connect to the metaverse.

Gartner predicts that by 2026, a quarter of the world’s population (25%) will spend at least an hour a day on the Metaverse. Users can make various purchases, teamwork, communicate with each other, etc. In addition, educational services and various entertainment services are operated on the basis of such platforms.

The concept of the metaverse will open up new possibilities for employers. Businesses can use virtual offices with immersive effect to perform tasks remotely.

At the same time, analysts warn that while the industry is fragmented, its participants should approach investments in the Metaverse with caution.
