Garmin introduces Vivomove Trend Smartwatch with analog hands

Garmin has launched the Vivomove Trend hybrid smartwatch, which combines classic analogue watch design with intelligent functions. The hybrid smartwatch features a reinforced polymer fiber case with a stainless steel bezel. Time is displayed on both a traditional analogue dial with arrows and a hidden monochrome LCD touch display.

The electronic display has a resolution of 254 x 346 pixels and is only visible when required. When using the touchscreen, the watch hands move dynamically so as not to obstruct the view of health indicators, notifications, etc., and then return to the desired position.

With Vivomove Trend, you can track your heart rate throughout the day, measure your blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), manage your stress and sleep quality, and track your exercise and women’s health. Your device supports Garmin Pay to pay for purchases using NFC contactless payment technology. And with the free Garmin Connect smartphone app, users can view their health and fitness information, chat and compete with friends, register for competitions and more for outdoor training in any weather.

The device battery life is up to five days in smartwatch mode or up to 6 days with smart functions turned off. You can charge the battery via Qi wireless charging.

The Vivomove Trend measures 40.4 x 40.4 x 11.9mm and weighs 43.3g. The hybrid watch is available for pre-order in four colors: Cream Gold and French Gray, Ivory Gold (Peach Gold and Ivory), Black (Slate and Black), and Silver Gray (Silver and Fog Gray). The price of the device is $269/£279/€330.
