Recall that Assassin’s Creed Mirage was officially announced for 2023, but in December, insider Tom Henderson reported that the game was due out in August after two internal transfers.
User mynameisusername7 from the forum Redditposing as a GameStop employee has posted a screenshot of the retail chain’s internal system showing upcoming major game releases, including Mirage.
In the picture, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was surrounded by summer games: Street Fighter 6 (June 2), Diablo IV (June 6), Final Fantasy XVI (June 22), Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon (August 25) and other. GameStop also lists August as the release date.

As a rule, retail stores know about the release of big games in advance. The fact that GameStop still doesn’t have a clear date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage three months before the intended release may mean that the game still doesn’t have a release date.
However, a clarification of the situation could follow relatively soon: on June 12, Ubisoft announced the holding of a game presentation Ubisoft Forward, where Assassin’s Creed Mirage will certainly be present.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is being developed for PC (Ubisoft Connect, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S and the Luna service. As a young Basim Ibn Ishaq, 20 years before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, players will rise from street thief to master assassin.
