Galax has introduced the GeForce RTX 4090 20th Anniversary Carbon Fiber Edition graphics card, which will be released in a very limited edition of just 50 copies. It differs from the previously introduced GeForce RTX 4090 20th Anniversary model with an overlay on the front of the cooling system housing made of “carbon fiber material”.

This year the Galax brand turns 20 and the manufacturer decided to celebrate the anniversary by releasing limited edition products. Like the previously introduced white model of the GeForce RTX 4090 20th Anniversary Edition, the black version of the Carbon Fiber Edition is equipped with a massive cooling system three expansion slots thick that includes three fans. In addition, there are two of them with a diameter of 100 mm on the front and one with a size of 90 mm on the back. An additional feature of such video cards is a hidden power connector, as well as the presence of a retimer – a chip that ensures the purity of the HDMI signal when transmitting over long distances.
The GeForce RTX 4090 20th Anniversary Carbon Fiber Edition is slightly faster than the “normal” 20th Anniversary Edition. If the second one indicates a GPU frequency of 2595 MHz, then the Carbon Fiber Edition has a GPU frequency of 2610 MHz. At the same time, the Carbon Fiber Edition claims a lower TDP of 510W, while the white version has a lower TDP of 516W.
Galax will release both 20th Anniversary series graphics cards in China on November 11th at 8:00 p.m. Beijing time. Enthusiasts looking to purchase these new items will need to set aside at least 20,000 yuan ($2,743) for the white model or 21,000 yuan ($2,880) for the Carbon Fiber Edition.
The manufacturer confirmed that the graphics cards will be available on the online trading platforms JD and TMall as well as the WeChat store in China. Unfortunately, Galax has no plans to release these graphics cards in other countries, and they themselves will be offered in a very limited edition to further emphasize their uniqueness.
