Galax releases GeForce RTX 3060 Ti HOF Pro graphics card with GDDR6X memory and GPU overclocking up to 1800MHz

Galax has introduced the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti HOF Pro graphics card. Usually only older models of accelerators are released in the Hall of Fame series, and there are exceptions in very rare cases, for example, this was the case with the GeForce GTX 1060 HOF Edition released six years ago.

The Hall of Fame series graphics cards are designed for lovers of manual overclocking. These accelerators always use non-reference PCBs, have boosted VRM power subsystems, as well as significant GPU factory overclocking. With the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, the GA104 graphics chip with 4864 CUDA cores is overclocked to 1.8 GHz. This is 8% higher than the reference value.

The novelty is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6X memory with a speed of 19 Gb/s per contact. That’s well above the 15 Gb/s offered by the GDDR6 memory of the original GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The maximum power consumption of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti HOF Pro is specified as 265 watts. That’s 65W above the reference value. The company recommends using a 750W PSU with this graphics card.

The Galax GeForce RTX 3060 Ti HOF Pro received a massive cooling system with three fans. One of the interesting features of the novelty is the LED indicators on the power connectors. They indicate whether the owner has correctly connected the PCIe power connectors. This feature would be very useful for the latest GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards where improper connection of power connectors can lead to their straightening.

Apparently, the Galax GeForce RTX 3060 Ti HOF Pro will not be sold outside of Asia. According to the VideoCardz portal, the HOF Pro series is exclusive to the countries of this region.
