Galax introduces 516W GeForce RTX 3090 Ti HOF OC Lab graphics cards

Galax has presented its versions of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics accelerator in HOF OC Lab Edition and HOF OC Lab Limited Edition versions. One is equipped with a massive air cooling system and comes in a metal case, the second received a pre-installed liquid cooling water block.

The graphics cards are based on the NVIDIA GA102-350 GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores. The cards received 24 GB of GDDR6X memory with a speed of 21 Gb / s and support for a 384-bit interface. The HOF OC Lab Edition GPU runs at up to 1920 MHz. The manufacturer did not specify the frequency of the GPU in the HOF OC Lab Limited Edition version.

Oddly, both new items come with dual 12+4 pin PCIe 5.0 (12VHPWR 2.0) connectors for extra performance. Remember that for each of them up to 600 watts of power can be transferred to the graphics card. At the same time, the manufacturer states that the nominal power consumption of new products is 480 watts. And the maximum is 516 watts. In the delivery kits of each version of the accelerator, the company has provided an adapter from three 8-pin connectors to a 12 + 4-pin connector. Each new product has four video connections: three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1.

An additional distinguishing feature of the HOF OC Lab Edition and HOF OC Lab Limited Edition graphics cards is the presence in their kits of a detachable HOF Panel III liquid crystal display, which is attached to the graphics card with magnets. It displays useful information about the status of the graphics accelerator: memory temperature, GPU, fan speed, etc.

The dimensions of the new products are 343 × 145 × 68 mm. Each of them occupies three expansion slots in the PC case.

The manufacturer did not specify the price of the presented video cards and their date of sale.
