Fujitsu introduced the world’s lightest 13-inch laptop – Lifebook WU-X / G2 weighs only 634 grams

Fujitsu has announced the Lifebook WU-X/G2 portable computer, which comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) display. With a weight of only 634 grams, it is said to be the world’s lightest laptop in its category.

The novelty is based on the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform. A Core i7-1255U processor with ten cores can be installed – two productive and eight energy-efficient. The clock frequency reaches 4.7 GHz. The chip contains the graphics accelerator Intel Iris Xe.

The amount of RAM LPDDR4X-4266 reaches 32 GB. A solid state drive with a capacity of 256 GB to 2 TB is responsible for data storage. There are Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapters, an SD slot and a webcam with a shutter to protect against covert surveillance.

The laptop is encased in a carbon fiber body with dimensions of 307 × 197 × 15.5mm. There are two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, an RJ45 jack for a network cable, an HDMI interface, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Power is supplied by a battery with a capacity of 25 Wh. Windows 11 operating system installed. The price starts at around $1,370.
