Fractal Design has released a 12L Ridge case that fits a gaming graphics card and LSS

Fractal Design has introduced a compact computer case in Ridge format SFF (Small Form Factor). The novelty is designed to build systems based on Mini-ITX motherboards. Thanks to its strict appearance, the case will easily fit into any interior.

Fractal Design Ridge measures 374 x 110 x 395 mm and weighs 4.3 kg. It can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions. Included with the novelty is a special stand for vertical installation.

The interior volume of the case is 12.6 liters. All six sides of the Ridge feature vents for more efficient cooling of PC components. The front panel of the case is made of fabric mesh.

The manufacturer has preinstalled two 140mm Fractal Design Aspect fans on the side panel that support PWM control. In the upper part of the case there are three seats for fans with a diameter of 80 mm.

The Ridge has three expansion slots. There is enough space inside to install up to four 2.5-inch drives. If you sacrifice a spot for an SSD, the Ridge can install a graphics card up to 335mm long. Otherwise, the space for the graphics accelerator will be limited to a length of 325 mm. The installation of the graphics card is vertical only. By removing the two 140mm side fans, you can install a graphics card up to 82mm thick and up to 137mm high. Otherwise, an accelerator with a thickness of up to 57 mm and a height of no more than 125 mm can be installed.

It also offers the possibility of installing liquid cooling systems. If you use a graphics card longer than 175mm, you can install a 120mm coolant cooler. If you don’t use a discrete graphics accelerator at all, the Fractal Design Ridge will fit an LSS up to 280mm in size.

The manufacturer states that the Ridge supports the installation of SFX and SFX-L power supplies. CPU air coolers up to 70mm high are also supported. There are two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C and a combined 3.5 mm audio output and a power button on the front of the case.

The novelty is offered in white and black versions. Fractal Design priced the Ridge case at $130.
