The new Chinese brand FOSSiBOT has announced the release of its first rugged smartphone FOSSiBOT F101, equipped with a large 10,600mAh battery that ensures long-term operation of the device offline. The startup FOSSiBOT was founded in July 2022 in Shenzhen by a team of specialists with over 8 years of experience in the development of rugged smartphones and portable power stations.
FOSSiBOT launched the FOSSiBOT F2400 portable power plant last November, and now it’s time for the company to debut in the rugged smartphone market.
Protection against moisture, dust, bumps and falls F101 meets IP68 and IP69 standards and is certified to military standard MIL-STD-810H, so you can take it for outdoor recreation without fear of the vagaries of the elements. It can also be used in the work of construction workers, firefighters, extreme sports enthusiasts, in short, wherever you have to face the adverse effects of the external environment.
A special feature of the F101 is the huge loudspeaker grille on the back, which has a diameter of 36 mm with a peak power of 3.5 W and a volume of up to 123 dB.
Another highlight of the F101 is a 10,600 mAh battery, which ensures a long battery life thanks to the smartphone’s relatively small 5.45-inch HD+ display and the energy-efficient Helio A22 quad-core processor. Especially in standby mode, the smartphone can work 1050 hours, which is almost 44 days.
The F101 has 4 GB RAM, 64 GB flash memory and a slot for memory cards up to 128 GB. The smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 24-megapixel main camera with phase detection autofocus, complemented by a 5-megapixel sensor and a 0.3-megapixel scene depth sensor.
In honor of the start of global sales, the price of a smartphone increases FOSSiBOT F101 cost less than $ 100, although smartphones with such memory parameters are mainly offered at a price of about $ 140.
