Forspoken System Requirements: 24GB RAM and RTX 3070 required for comfortable gameplay

Square Enix and developer Luminous Productions have released the system requirements for their open-world action role-playing game Forspoken. In it, all tables with configurations were presented for the first time thematic broadcast in Japanese.

The PC version turned out to be very demanding on the hardware – to play at 1440p at 30fps you need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card and 24GB of RAM. Also, to install Forspoken on a PC, you need to free up 150GB of disk space – this requirement applies to all configurations.

Minimum system requirements (to play at 720p and 20 fps):

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.7GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.7GHz
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8GB)
  • Memory: 16GB;
  • Hard Drive Space: 150GB (HDD supported, SSD preferred).

Recommended Requirements (1440p, 30fps):

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.7GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.7GHz
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (8GB), AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12GB);
  • Memory: 24GB;
  • Storage space: 150 GB (SSD).

Requirements to play in 4K resolution (2160p, 60fps):

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X at 3.8 GHz;
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB)
  • Memory: 32GB;
  • Storage space: 150 GB (SSD).

Forspoken is being developed for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, EGS) and PS5. According to the plot, Frey Holland finds himself in the fantasy region of Atia, where he must master magical abilities. The game will go on sale on January 24th across all platforms.
