Publisher Square Enix and developer Luminous Productions are pursuing the disclosure of the system requirements for their open-world action role-playing game, Forspoken submitted There is also a trailer for the PC version of the game.
The released video lasts just under a minute and shows a snippet of the gameplay and intro videos captured by the PC edition of Forspoken. The video also reveals the main technical features of the release.
In the PC version of Forspoken, they promise “smooth performance” up to 60 fps with AMD FSR 2 scaling support, “Super fast” Downloads and customizable graphics settings (Low, Standard, High and Ultra).
Among other things, Forspoken is offered on PC “full support” HDR, 32:9 ultrawide format (in gameplay), keyboard and mouse, DualSense and DualShock 4 gamepads, and XInput and DirectInput controllers.
Remember that for Forspoken on a PC at 720p and 30fps 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1060 (6GB) is enough, and for the same performance in 1440p you need 24GB and RTX 3070 (8GB).
Forspoken will be one of the first games to support DirectStorage load acceleration technology, but owners of already fast NVMe drives (recommended in Ultra configuration) will benefit the most.
Forspoken will be released on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, EGS) and PS5 on January 24th. According to the plot, the girl Frey Holland finds herself in the fantasy region of Atia, where she must master magical abilities in order to survive.
