There is still more than a week before the official announcement of the new generation of foldable smartphones from Samsung, so apparently it’s time for a leak – the official images of the new models were published by the resource 91mobiles.com.

Evan Blass, who previously presented the renderings of devices to the public, this time published a full set of official images, on which both models appeared in all colors and all angles, including folded and unfolded. When the range of shots is complete, the Z Fold 4 will be offered in black, gray and beige, while the Z Flip 4 will get black, gold, blue and purple.
Externally, there are no radical differences from last year’s Fold3 and Flip3 – both successors have inherited a very similar appearance, down to the black stripe on top of the Flip model. The black background on the display makes it hard to know if the Fold 4 will get an under-screen selfie camera, which didn’t work well in last year’s model. It is also unclear whether the older model will have a compartment for the S Pen.
However, the lack of revolutionary changes in appearance does not exclude advances in the technical part. There’s reason to believe that the Flip 4 will get a redesigned screen with an invisible fold line, while the Fold 4 will run Android 12L, a special version of the platform optimized for devices with larger screens. The official announcement of smartphones is scheduled for August 10th.
