Focus Entertainment will retain 66% of the shares, with the remainder being held by Jos Hoebe, Founder and Creative Director of the WW1 Game Series, who will continue to lead the team.

The studio will continue to exist solely as BlackMill Games BV based in the Netherlands and will become Focus Entertainment’s sixth division with 15 employees.

Remember that WW1 Game Series (BlackMill Games) is known as the developer of the eponymous trilogy of historical network shooters about WWI: Verdun, Tannenberg and the Coming Isonzo.

Isonzo is expected to release tomorrow, September 13th, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Inspired by the two-year battle for the Isonzo Valley and the Alps, the game takes players to the mountains of the Italian front.
