Flagship Core i9-13900K can auto-overclock to 5.8GHz, Polish retailer confirms

Polish retailer x-kom released a 30-second commercial about the new Intel Raptor Lake processors, in which it confirmed one of the main technical characteristics of the flagship processor of the future series – Core i9-13900K. Apparently, the video was released early as it was deleted very soon. However, the screenshots on the web remained.

In particular, the video confirms that the new generation processors offer up to 8 productive and up to 16 energy-efficient cores, and can also automatically overclock to a frequency of 5.8 GHz. Obviously, these maximum characteristics will be inherent in the flagship Core i9-13900K. Unfortunately, no additional technical information is reported.

Tomorrow’s Intel Innovation Event is expected to announce older models of 13th Gen Core processors with the K and KF suffixes. These chips are rated at 125W and come with an unlocked multiplier for manual overclocking. The announcement of junior models of processors with TDP 35 and 65 W is expected later. It is possible that they will be presented at CES 2023 in early January next year.

The specifications of many processor models of the upcoming Raptor Lake series are already well known thanks to earlier leaks. It remains to be seen until official confirmation and data on the cost of new products.
