“Fits the game perfectly”: The modder added Malenia from Elden Ring to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and showed what the result was

From Opinion For some fans, Malenia, Elden Ring’s toughest boss, would be more at home in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Well, after a year and a half, someone has finally made this idea a reality.

Recently Japanese modder Kento published On his microblog there is a gameplay video from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in which he fights with the same Malenia from Elden Ring.

Malenia in Sekiro has taken over the arena as one of the final mandatory bosses and has all of her main moves including Water Dance, Scarlet Aeonia and Scarlet Clones.

However, the variant for Sekiro did not become an exact copy of the battle from Elden Ring: the boss does not restore health after hitting the player, lost some skills and received the missing animations of characters from Sekiro.

Judging by the four-minute Kento video, fans were right – in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, where the emphasis is on repelling enemy attacks, Malenia is much easier to handle (mod restrictions help too).

The audience was impressed by how well Malenia fit into the “Alien” game. “Man, she’s such a boss at Sekiro, it’s unreal. Fits the game perfectly”says Short-Bug5855 Reddit.

Kento has not yet released the mod with Malenia for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but showed off another of his creations (see below): the slave knight Gael from the Dark Souls 3 supplements instead of the final boss of Sekiro.
