There is exactly one week left until the superhero action game Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered launches on PC, but the first user screenshots of the highly anticipated release are already circulating online.
According to TheHeeper55 from the forum Reddit, who posted in-game material, found it on Twitter. The owner of an early copy decided to share his joy with the others, but Sony quickly removed the images.
The screenshots (see gallery below) show the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered running at ultra-wide resolution and apparently not at the highest graphics settings.
The player showed how New York looks from the roofs of buildings, reflections on the facades of glass buildings, Spider-Man in the original suit, part of the keyboard layout and a monitor with the game running.
Remember that the updated version of Marvel’s Spider-Man for PC includes ray tracing (reflections), support for NVIDIA DLSS scaling, DLAA anti-aliasing, achievements, cloud storage and a DualSense controller.
As for non-standard resolutions, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is optimized not only for ultra-wide format (21:9) but also for panoramic format (32:9) (we’re talking about gameplay and cutscenes).
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be available on August 12th on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Recently the developers of Insomniac Games reportedthat the game is fully compatible with Steam Deck.
