The Honor brand has officially launched its first smartphone with a flexible display: the device is called Magic V. The model will go on sale at an estimated price of 2200 US dollars.

The novelty is the world’s first smartphone with a flexible screen, which is equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The chip integrates eight cores, including the powerful Kryo Prime core with a clock rate of up to 3.0 GHz, the Qualcomm AI engine of the seventh generation and the Adreno graphics accelerator of the next generation. With the built-in Snapdragon X65 5G modem, you can transfer data to the subscriber at speeds of up to 10 Gbps.

The Magic V device is made in the form of a book with the main display folded into the body. This OLED panel measures 7.9 inches diagonally, has a resolution of 2272 x 1984 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
There is an additional 6.45-inch OLED screen on the outside of the case. Its resolution is 2560 × 1080 pixels, the refresh rate is 120 Hz.

On the front there is a 42-megapixel camera with a maximum aperture of f / 2.4. The reversing camera combines three 50-megapixel sensors, including an ultra-wide-angle optics module.
Closed dimensions are 160.4 x 72.7 x 14.3 mm, open – 160.4 x 141.1 x 6.7 mm. The device weighs 293 g.

The Honor Magic V foldable smartphone is equipped with 12 GB of RAM, the storage capacity of the flash drive is 256 or 512 GB. Power is supplied by a battery with a capacity of 4750 mAh with support for fast 66 watt charging via the USB Type-C port.
