The core gameplay of Another Slice remains unchanged. At the same time, there will be some elements that will make the game more difficult and fun while keeping the spirit of Portal. A release date for the remake has not been announced.

The original Portal debuted in Fall 2007 with The Orange Box on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and received a free upgrade to Portal with RTX, the ray-traced version of the game for Steam, in late 2022.
