Extreme Race Stuntfest: World Tour with the Spirit of FlatOut has changed its name and got an early release date – it will be free

Last June, the publisher THQ Nordic and the Austrian studio Pow Wow Entertainment presented an extreme racer with target ejection mechanics. It was supposed to be released in 2022 under the name Stuntfest: World Tour, but plans have changed.

As has been announced, Stuntfest: World Tour is now called Jected: Rivals and is scheduled to start on May 4, 2023 as part of Shareware Early Access on PC (steam). The game is monetized through paid additions.

In the original version of Jected: Rivals, they promise multiple characters and vehicles, 13 types of competitions, reliable AI and a place to train. Early Access lasts four to eight months.

The full release of Jected: Rivals will feature a progression and personalization system, team play, additional characters and vehicles, and balanced gameplay thanks to user feedback.

According to Florian Emmerich, Head of PR at THQ Nordic, Jected: Rivals consists of “50% action, 50% running, 50% flying and crazy stunts, so it’s 200% fun.”.

How clear up Developers, the game itself hasn’t changed since the name change – it still is “A crazy mix of extreme crashing cars and breakneck speed in an 18-player KO tournament”.

A key feature of Jected: Rivals is ejection – with the push of a button, the driver can fly (like in FlatOut), cutting off the path and landing back on the track in a car materialized from the air.
