Recall that the trial version of NORCO debuted on Steam as part of the Games to Be festival in June and was withdrawn from Valve’s digital store in mid-September 2021. A new demo was promised to be released in January 2022.

As has been announced, the new NORCO demo will debut on Steam tomorrow, January 20th, along with the start of the Big Adventure event. The event lasts until the 24th and the demo remains on duty permanently.

The enhanced “Probe” will feature a redesigned artistic component, a polished user interface, “Bundle of New” Dialogues, an additional interactive segment and the transfer of saved games to the full version.

In order not to be unfounded, the developers have published a selection of screenshots of the new NORCO demo version, where you can see the changes that have overtaken the game. The studio noted that it is proud of the results it has achieved over the past few months.

NORCO is set in a swampy suburb of New Orleans. The hero in search of his missing brother has to set off “Through a world of uncertainty and moral ambiguity”.

As for the genre, Southern Gothic was formed in the first half of the 20th century and, after Classical Gothic, is characterized by a penchant for the macabre and grotesque (sometimes even mystical), as well as an inseparable connection with the life and traditions of the American south.
