European retailers started reducing prices for the GeForce RTX 4060 just 5 days after the launch

The GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card that went on sale last week didn’t particularly interest gamers, which is to be expected given its very unflattering ratings. This has been particularly evident in the European markets, where retailers have already started lowering prices and offering the GeForce RTX 4060 at a discount.

Major German retailer Mindfactory has dropped the price of the GeForce RTX 4060 to €310. French retailer Hardware.fr has followed suit, offering a 6% discount coupon for the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X graphics card. As a result, the novelty can be picked up five days after the start of sales for EUR 309 instead of the recommended EUR 329.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X is one of those versions of the RTX 4060 that originally went on sale at NVIDIA’s suggested price. It’s $299 for the US and €329 for Europe. Apparently there is little demand from retailers for an accelerator at this price. Therefore, they have to lower prices to boost sales.

According to VideoCardz, the price of the RTX 4060 has not yet dropped in the USA, where the minimum price of the graphics card is still $299.
