OSOM, founded by the former creators of Essential Phone, has released its first smartphone, due for release in 2023. Pre-orders for the device have already begun to be received.

We are talking about the device that previously appeared under the name OSOM OV1. The developers of the smartphone decided to enter into a partnership agreement with the blockchain company Solana, and the forthcoming novelty in this regard has received a new name – Solana Saga. The device is expected to receive dedicated means for securely managing digital assets such as cryptocurrency and NFT.
The smartphone will be based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with eight cores (up to 3.2 GHz) and a Snapdragon X65 5G cellular modem. The amount of RAM is 12 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 512 GB.

The equipment will include a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 700 cd/m²2. On the front there is a 16-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX481 sensor, and a dual rear camera combines sensors for 50 million (Sony IMX7666) and 12 million (Sony IMX373) pixels.
Among other things, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, an NFC controller, a fingerprint scanner and a 4100 mAh battery with Qi wireless charging are mentioned. Dimensions – 166.2 × 75.9 × 7.99 mm, weight – 195 g. The price is $ 1000.
