Almost three years have passed since the launch of the Epic Games Store. At the start, the store did not have much functionality, and even now it does not have, for example, the achievement system that users have been asking for for a long time. Yesterday Epic Games announcedthat the achievements will be integrated into the store next week.
The system will suggest levels from bronze to platinum. Each achievement brings experience points, the accumulation of which can be monitored on a special page.
- Bronze: 5-45 units. experience.
- Silver: 50-95 units. experience.
- Gold: 100-200 units. experience.
- Platinum: 250 units. experience.
Rocket League, Hades, Pillars of Eternity, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Zombie Army 4 and Alan Wake Remastered will be the first games to achieve achievements. Epic Games has promised that the achievements will appear in other games by the end of the year.
The company also announced that the store will be rolling out several more social features and player rewards this year, but did not go into details.
