Elon Musk thanks Twitter employees for working overtime

Earlier this week, Twitter suspended sales of the $7.99-per-month Twitter Blue subscription to address an issue with fake accounts impersonating the purchase of famous people and brands “Blue Tick”, Confirmation of user verification. When exactly this function will be available again is still unknown.

A source for the company said changes to the Twitter platform have historically come at a slower and more cautious pace, as the platform has to consider various factors such as user response, security and revenue implications. The new, more experimental approach Musk is taking is not only worrying Twitter employees, but also advertisers and even the US Federal Trade Commission.

Twitter staff also said they would like more clarity on a number of issues, including those related to the ability to work remotely. Last week, Musk changed the work schedule at the company, rescinding the rule “Work from home forever”. Musk’s letter to employees also does not provide complete clarity on this issue. That writes the Twitter boss “Remote work is fine if you can’t reasonably come into the office and work at an exceptional level”. At the same time, he emphasized that he firmly believes in the enterprise spirit and efficiency of office work.
