Elon Musk promised to return headlines to links on social network X

The experiment of removing headings from material cards via links on the social network X lasted about a month and a half – the owner of the platform, Elon Musk, said that the headings would return to the preview blocks.

Elon Musk reported in X that the company will begin showing the content title at the top of the preview card image in an upcoming platform update. He didn’t mention a specific timeline for rolling out the feature, nor did he show what the link map would look like. Musk planned to remove headers from blocks back in August – he confirmed it was his Personal initiative, and this is done to “improve aesthetics”. The feature was implemented at the beginning of October.

This change required users to follow links to at least read the title of the material if it was not specified in the text of the corresponding publication on the X platform itself. To get around the not always convenient innovation, publishers began putting titles directly on the images that accompanied publications. Reverting to the old layout may make it easier to post to X, but this depends on the layout of the updated map.
