Elon Musk and Twitter have not yet agreed to end the process

US billionaire Elon Musk, who wanted to buy Twitter again after several months of trying to avoid the deal, has not yet reached an agreement with the social network to end the court case initiated over his refusal to buy. About that reported on Wednesday Reuters, citing informed sources.

Twitter’s legal team and attorneys for Elon Musk told Delaware Court of Chancery Judge Kathaleen McCormick, who is presiding over the case, on Tuesday that they intend to negotiate a deal.

According to court documents released Wednesday, Musk declined to testify during the pre-trial in late September, citing concerns about a Twitter attorney’s possible contact with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19.

Recall that in July the head of Tesla and SpaceX announced plans to abandon the April acquisition agreement and explained his decision. “material violations of several contractual provisions”, including that Twitter did not provide reliable information on the number of fake accounts.
