Recall that in late February VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb in a podcast GamesBeat decides mentioned that Electronic Arts does not intend to hold its annual show next summer.
As it turns out, this is indeed the case. According to a spokesman for Electronic Arts, the company loves EA Play Live, but “This year we can’t show you everything in one day”.
“There’s a lot going on at our world-class studios, and we’ll be unveiling these projects at the appropriate time for each of them throughout the year.”reads a statement from Electronic Arts.
Currently, Electronic Arts-owned studios are working on the new Dragon Age and Mass Effect (BioWare), the next Skate (Full Circle), the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (Respawn), and the remake of Dead Space (EA Motive).
