Electronic Arts is closing another studio and announcing Apex Legends Mobile and Battlefield Mobile

portal VentureBeat announces that the publisher Electronic Arts has decided Interrupt Developing two of its previously announced mobile games at once and closing another purchased in-house studio.

As for the studio closing, Electronic Arts has decided to disband Industrial Toys, which it bought in 2018 and was founded by industry veteran and Halo co-creator Alex Seropian.

Industrial Toys is EA’s newest closed studio. In the past, publisher Westwood Studios (2002), Origin Systems (2004), Pandemic Studios (2009), Mythic Entertainment (2014), Visceral Games (2017) and a few others ceased to exist.
