Electronic Arts publishers and their studio BioWare have commented on possible involvement in the development of the recently announced remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Recall that for the updated Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Texas Aspyr Media (part of the Embracer Group) was responsible, while the original game was created by BioWare.

As for the answer from Electronic Arts, the host of The Game Awards requested it from the publisher. Geoff Keighley… Despite the detailed comment of a company representative, the situation has not been clarified.

A remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic announced for PC and PlayStation 5 (temporary console exclusive). There is no release date for the game: production is still at an early stage.
