Electronic Arts has announced The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, a mobile turn-based RPG in partnership with Middle-earth Enterprises. It will feature a wide range of characters from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, as well as famous events from the books and movies.

According to the statement, the game will be strictly inspired by Middle-earth, described in the works of JRR Tolkien (JRR Tolkien). In addition to the events and characters from the books, she will feature fans “Immersive storytelling, turn-based combat, deep collection system”as well as social and competitive modes.
The game is being developed by Capital Games Studio, which previously worked on Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. It is known that a limited beta test of the project will take place in the summer.
Electronic Arts has already licensed The Lord of the Rings. In the early 2000s, she released several film-related games. In recent years projects in the Tolkien universe have been made by Warner Bros. and Monolith productions. The last of these was Middle-earth: Shadow of War, which was released in 2017.
