E3 2024 is in question and E3 2025 is said to be a “complete reinvention” of the show

Despite the failure of E3 2022 and E3 2023, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) plans to reinvent the event in the coming years.

portal GamesIndustry.biz reports that ESA is not abandoning the plan to host E3 2024 (there was cause for concern), but the event will definitely not be held in the traditional Los Angeles convention center in 2024.

According to whistleblowers from GamesIndustry.biz, ESA is also working on it “complete reinvention” E3 in 2025. Rethinking means changing format and venue.

ESA is also ending (now officially) its partnership with ReedPop, which was supposed to help organize E3 2023. As a result, the exhibition was canceled due to a lack of interest from potential participants.

E3 2023 has been positioned as the exhibition’s return to an offline format for the first time since 2019. E3 2020 and E3 2022 were canceled (for various reasons) and E3 2021 was a digital-only show.
