The ESRB has issued an age rating for the zombie action game Dying Light in versions for PS5, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch. A few days ago, the developers confirmed that they are working on a version of the game for the next generation of consoles.
The agency gave the project a rating of 17+ (M). The original version of Dying Light received the same rating for brutal battles with zombies and obscene vocabulary. The updated game is expected to offer support for 60fps and 4K resolution. So far, Techland itself hasn’t reported any graphics improvements.
Dying Light is now available on Xbox Series X and S and PS5 in backward compatibility mode. The version for Microsoft consoles runs at 60 fps, for PS5 – at 30 fps.
Tomorrow, October 19, Dying Light will come out on Nintendo Switch. Probably on the same day the game will be updated on new consoles. The release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human will take place on February 4, 2022 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.
