Dying Light developers share new concept art and details for their fantasy open-world role-playing game

Independent Polish studio Techland, known for the Dying Light dilogy, has a presence on social networks introduced New concept art and details for the as-yet-untitled but highly ambitious open-world fantasy RPG.

Recall that Techland has been involved in the project since 2016, but showed the first developments only in May 2022. Then the studio called RPG “a new fantasy epic in a huge open world full of new ideas, enthusiasm and ingenuity”.

Now the developers have clarified that they aim to create an exciting story-driven AAA game that combines and develops the best gameplay elements of Techland’s creations.

“Our latest game will be a story-driven fantasy epic with an exotic open world waiting to be explored.”reads Techland’s new Twitter post.

As for the new concept art for the untitled RPG, the image above shows a man clinging to a tree in a fantasy landscape with temples built out of rocks and a shattered moon in the sky.

Techland has not yet revealed when and on which platforms to wait for their fantasy role-playing game, but it clearly indicates that the project will be represented “truly next generation”.

It was previously reported that former CD Projekt RED employees were involved in the creation of the project, including those who worked on The Witcher 3 storytelling specialists Karolina Stachyra and Arkadiusz Borowik.
