Dragon Ball FighterZ gets current-gen versions and rollback netcode support

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer studio Arc System Works as part of the esports tournament EVO 2022 announced the upcoming expansion of the list of target platforms for its fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S in the foreseeable future, PS4 and Xbox One owners can upgrade to the improved versions.

Along with the release on current-gen consoles, Dragon Ball FighterZ will gain support for rollback network code – the technique will appear in PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S editions.

Among other things, during the EVO 2022 representatives of the development team reportedthat Bandai Namco is not planning any further balance adjustments or adding new characters to Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Dragon Ball FighterZ debuted on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018 and released on Nintendo Switch in September of the same year. By November 2021, the game’s total sales had been exceeded 8 million copies.
